Wayne Spangler

N. “Wayne” Spangler, age 79 of Ogallala, Nebraska, died at his home July 25th, 2022.

N. Wayne Spangler was born February 13, 1943 in Ogallala to Robert and Erma (Hughes) Spangler.  He attended school in Ogallala.

Wayne married Carleen Condreay on June 27th, 1970 at the Ogallala First United Methodist Church.  Wayne and Carleen made their home in Ogallala, Nebraska.

Wayne was retired from the Farmers Co-op where he had worked at both the Brule and Ogallala Elevators.  He did various duties and had been a propane delivery truck driver most recently.

Wayne was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ogallala; and Big Mac Fly Fishing Club.

Wayne is survived by his daughter, Carla (Joey) Anderson of Meridian, ID; son, Tim Condreay of Kuna, ID; two brothers, Michael (Linda) Spangler of Ogallala, and Lloyd (Sue) Spangler of Norfolk, NE; three grandchildren-Jason (Crystal) Anderson of Ogden UT, John Anderson of Parker CO, Jina (Broc) Whipple of Meridian, ID; 5 great-grandchildren- Mckynzee, Sydnie, Brianna, Kerrick and Cole; and a sister-in-law- Sherilynn Spangler.   He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carleen in 2021; two brothers, Tim and Gerald (Gerry) Spangler and a sister, Doris Hirsch.

Cremation was chosen by the family and services are scheduled for Saturday, August 13th at 9:00 am at the First United Methodist Church of Ogallala. Pastor Curt Magelky of the First United Methodist Church of Ogallala will be officiating.

Inurnment will take place in the Ogallala Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church of Ogallala.
