Vivian Mae Goff, age 85, of Paxton, Nebraska died Friday, September 9th, 2022 in her home. Vivian was born in North Platte on September 22,1936 to Carl and Marjorie (Lind) Goff. She attended school in North Platte, NE. She worked as a housekeeper and volunteered for the Ogallala ambulance service for over ten years in Ogallala, NE. She had two children, Debra and Kenneth. Her life then took her to Virginia, Maryland, California, and Japan. Vivian returned to Paxton to be near her son, Kenneth Brown, and family. Her two sisters, Karen and Marjorie, live close by. She loved her family, arrowhead hunting, roaming the river, genealogy, doll collecting, gardening and her pets. She will be missed greatly.
Vivian is preceded in death by her son Kenneth Brown; her brothers Leroy Goff, Lowell Goff, and Chuck Goff.
Survivors include one daughter Debra (Timothy) Petrow of St. Leonard, Maryland, two granddaughters and two great granddaughters, one Daughter-in-law Julie Brown of Paxton; two sisters Karen Speicher of Fort Morgan, CO and Marjorie Tucker of North Platte;
Graveside Services will be Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. central time in the North Platte Cemetery. Pastor Mark Baldwin of the Paxton United Methodist Church will be officiating.
