Pete Brown, age 64, of Ogallala, passed away, Sunday, April 18, 2021 at the Ogallala Community Hospital in Ogallala.
Pete was born October 12, 1956 to Napoleon and Lorena (Eaton) Brown in Sterling, Colorado.
Pete received his early education in Haxton, CO before moving to Ogallala where he graduated from High School.
He was married to Susan Sauer and they resided in Ogallala where they welcomed 3 children; Nicholas, Erica and Amber.
On March 5, 2005 he was united in marriage to Jayne Beckius in Ogallala. In 2008 they purchased their dog, Sadie.
Pete worked maintenance of way for the Union Pacific Rail Road for 38 years, before retiring in 2016.
In high school his passion was wrestling. His son and grandsons would follow in his footsteps.
Pete's hobbies included; photography, shooting guns with his children, playing with Sadie and loved watching T.V. with her. He also enjoyed putting model cars together and washing and waxing his mustang. Pete would do anything for anybody, he would travel many miles for his son's wrestling meets. He loved his family and loved playing pool at family gatherings.
Pete is survived by his wife, Jayne Brown; son, Nicholas (Tonya) Brown, all of Ogallala; two daughters; Erica Brown, of Crete, NE; Amber Brown, of Ogallala; a sister, Phyllis Wood, of Cody, WY; a brother, Roger Brown, of Fort Collins, CO; and 6 grandchildren; Annabella Brown, Louden Brown, Blake Plugge, Sophia Plugge, Colton Pouk and Nicollette Reyna.
He was preceded in death by his mother; brother, Lloyd Brown; and 2 sisters, Barbara Tinnon and Beverly Balderson.
A register book signing will be held, Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. with family greeting friends from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. in the Draucker Funeral Home Chapel in Ogallala.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 23, 2021 in the New Hope Church of Ogallala with Pastor Eric Wait officiating.
Interment will be held in the Ogallala Cemetery.
