Paul Stephens Obituary

Paul Leonard Stephens, 82, of Lewellen, Nebraska passed away Wednesday August 24th, 2022 at Regional West Hospital in Scottsbluff, NE.

Paul was born November 26th, 1939 to Robert Stephens and Minnie Hill in Pike County, Kentucky. Paul grew up on a tobacco farm in Pike County and attended school there. He later moved to Michigan with his mother and step father, Ellis Hill.

In 1950, Paul moved to Denver, Colorado and enlisted in the Army National Guard. There, he met his wife Sharon Ann (Bowen) Stephens and they married in October 1962, making their home in Denver. Sharon and Paul had three sons; Robert, Danny, and Gary.  Paul worked in construction for awhile, but ultimately made his career in utility trailer sales, where he retired in 2002 after 35 years. Upon his retirement, Paul moved to Lake McConaughy.

Paul enjoyed numerous activities, such as gardening, fishing, hunting, water sports, and working on motorcycles.

Paul was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Ann Stephens.

Paul is survived by his sons; Robert L. Stephens, Danny J. Stephens, and Gary L. Stephens, 8 Grandchildren, and 13 Great Grandchildren.

The family chose cremation.

Memorial Services will be Saturday, September 17th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Kingdom Hall. Tony Raffaeli will be officiating.
