Linda Rae Pierce

Linda Rae Pierce, age 72, of Alliance, NE, passed away, Saturday, June 27, 2020 at her daughters home in Ogallala.    
 
Linda was born to Milford and Alice (Hammer) Pierce on May 11, 1948. She was one of 17 children.

Linda enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her great grandkids. She loved watching Thomas the Train, Paw Patrol and any other cartoons they liked to watch. She also enjoyed watching the Hallmark Channel Christmas movies, all year around. Linda loved cooking a big breakfast for her family. Her other favorite hobbies were playing bingo and going to casinos with her friends and family. She loved to argue with us about every little thing but always had a way to make us laugh. 

She will be dearly missed for her antics and unbelievable cooking. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers; Ronald and Harold; 5 sisters; Sherry, Wanda, Betty, Christy and Maradeen; and a son-in-law, Greg Buethe, Sr.

Linda is survived by her children; Marina Finkey; Gelinda Halle; Mike Sorenson, all of Alliance; Wayne Sorenson, of Aberdeen, SD; 1 step-daughter, Carol Bussinger; grandchildren; Jeff (Shauna) Halle, Cody (Jon) Halle, Brittney (John) Hirt, Gregory Buethe, Tony Buethe, Amanda (Chris) Needham, Skylar (Bailey) Sorenson, Chelsea (Melissa) Sorenson, Talin Sorenson; great-grandchildren; Skylar, Gracie, John and Serenity; her siblings; Howard (Donna), Eugene (Linda), Melvin (Carolyn), Terry (Kathy), David, Jerry, Charlotte, Marilyn (Gary) and Jackie (David); and several nieces, nephews and many cousins.

The family chose cremation. Memorial Services will be scheduled at a later date due to the recent Health Concerns.
