Kenneth Jewell Obituary

Kenneth Lee Jewell, 67, of Keystone, NE passed away Saturday, March 25th, 2023 at his home.

Kenny was born August 14th, 1955 to Alfred and Shannon (Seter) Jewell. He went to school in Albin, Carpenter and Cheyenne, WY. He spent most of his life in Wyoming. Until recently, when he moved to Nebraska to be near his kids and grandkids. Kenny worked mostly ranch jobs, including livestock hauling. As young man, he and his older brother Sonny worked on the Polo Ranch in Cheyenne, WY. Kenny worked at many ranches in his life; a ranch in Bosler, WY, the Fear Ranch in Big Piney, WY, Paul and George Breugman's ranch in Meridan, WY, Doug Chamberlain's ranch in LaGrange, WY, Larry Rice Livestock in Henry, NE, Madden Brothers Livestock in Torrington, WY, Three Forks Ranch in Baggs,WY, and his last job at the Hansen 77 Ranch in Keystone, NE. Taking after his dad, Kenny really didn’t know what a vacation or relaxing was. Ranching was his life. 

Kenny is survived by; two children, C.R. (Tawn) Jewell of Whitman, NE and Tiffany (Jeremy) Parks of Hyannis, NE. Kenny also had four grandchildren; Tripp and Brogan Jewell of Whitman, NE and Stetson and Kilee Parks of Hyannis, NE. He is also survived by a sister Anna (friend Ernie) of Green River, WY, a stepbrother Chad, and numerous cousins.

 Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Jewell, two brothers Sonny and Jerry Jewell, a niece, and his uncles. 

The family chose cremation. Private family services will be scheduled at a later date.
