Veris Bentz Obituary Veris M Bentz, age 92, of Ogallala, Nebraska, passed away on June 6, 2021 at her home in Ogallala, NE. following a lengthy illness. Veris was born December 21, 1928 in Alliance to Walter and Mildred (Groce) Robbins. She attended Alliance public Schools and graduated for Alliance High School in 1946. On October 1, 1947 she married Lloyd Brown in Alliance, to this union 3 sons were born, Clifford, Roger and Dan. In 1963 she went to Beauty College in Alliance and graduated in 1964 and started Kurl N Swirl Beauty Salon. Veris and Lloyd lived in Alliance for several years. Veris met Mel Scheib, while working in Alliance. They were married March 15, 1976 in Rapid City SD., where they moved and Veris continued to work as a beautician until his death. Veris met Donald in South Dakota and they were married May 21, 1988. They later moved to Las Vegas where they bowled and loved having friends and family. They moved back Ogallala, NE in 2015, to be near family. Survivors include Her husband Donald of Ogallala; Sons: Cliff (Bonnie) Brown, Brule NE; Roger (Tanya) Brown, Burke Mountain, VT; Dan (Yuliya) Brown, Crawford NE. Stepdaughters: Amy (Kevin) Rollo, Windsor NY; Denise (Michael) Smith, Grofto NY; Christina Temple, Binghamton, NY.; Jane (Scott) Ebrhard, Rapid City SD, Patti (Dave) Larson, Rapid City SD; Sisters: Patsy (Roger) Rohrbouck, Alliance NE ; Beverly Robbins Kansas City, MO; Vicki Robbins, Colorado Springs CO. Brothers: Kenneth (Mary) Robbins; Dennis (Denise)Robbins; Terry (Alice) Robbins; Bruce Robbins All of Alliance NE and Randy Robbins Waite Park MN, 14 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandson; numerous Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, and Great Nephews . Preceding her in death: Husband Lloyd Brown 1994; Husband Mel Scheib 1983; Sister Mary Juanita Roland, Brothers John Robbins; Walter Martin Robbins; and Floyd (Austy) Robbins. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2021 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm with family greeting friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Draucker Funeral Home Chapel, in Ogallala, Nebraska. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, 10:00 am June 10, 2021, at the Draucker Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Chuck Rager, of the United Methodist Church, in Ogallala NE officiating.
