Steve Chandler Obituary Steven Orville Chandler, age 67, of Keystone, NE, passed away, Saturday, April 24, 2021 at his home in Keystone. Steven was born on October 28, 1953 to Donald and Betty (Travis) Chandler in Ogallala, Nebraska. He attended Ogallala and Paxton High School. After graduating, he received a Rodeo Scholarship and attended Chadron State College and Casper College in Wyoming. He continued to enjoy ranch rodeo events after college. Steven met and married Susan Heming in 1981. The two of them ranched until retirement in 2016. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. Steven is survived by his wife, Susan Heming-Chandler, of Keystone; his father, Donald (Karen) Chandler, of North Platte, NE; his children; Jessica (Abraham) Zabih, of Little Rock, AR; William (Andrea Schubert) Chandler, of Las Vegas, NV; Rebecca Chandler, of Lincoln, NE; and grandchildren, Aryana and Zena Zabih. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Chandler. The family chose cremation. No services are scheduled at this time.
