Paul Daniel "Danny" Tryon

Paul Daniel “Danny” Tryon, age 60, of Ogallala, NE, passed away Monday, March 30, 2026, at his home in Ogallala. Danny was born May 3,1965, in Ogallala. He went to school in Ogallala and later went to Mid Plains Community College in North Platte, NE. After college he moved to Colorado. He worked as a CNA and Dietary Aide in Denver, CO until he retired and moved back to Ogallala where he resided until his passing. Danny had a tremendous love for the elderly. His years as a CNA were his best, he used to tell everyone. He loved the outdoors and being with his dogs. Anyone that spent time with Danny would tell you he was the life of the party. No matter what mood you were in he could always make you laugh until you cried.

He is survived by his son, Adam Tryon of Ogallala, NE; his brothers Richard “Ric” Tryon (Dawn) of Ogallala, NE, Donald Tryon (Amy Otto) of Walden, CO, sisters Crystal Ray of Aloha, OR, Simona (Mark) Haggard of Palm Beach, FL and Victoria (Matt) Dancer of Walden, CO, Aunts Peggy (Jerry) Ready of Ogallala, NE and Diana McIntosh (who was very special to Danny) of Ogallala, NE, Sister-in-law Eloise Finley, of Ogallala, NE, stepfather Bob Eichner of Denver, CO, as well as a grandchild, many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by his father Douglas Edward Tryon, mother Sandra Jane Eichner, brothers Randal Douglas Tryon and his twin, David Douglas Finley, grandparents Richard “Dick” and Mary Smith.

Danny will be enormously missed by all of us, but we know he is not suffering any longer. He has gone to be with his family that left us too soon and we take comfort that he will be with Jesus.

A memorial for Danny will be announced at a later date.
