Paul F. Brown, 59, of Ogallala, died Friday, April 15, 2016, in the Ogallala Community Hospital. Paul was born December 25, 1956, in Bennington, Vermont, the son of William and Ann (Cavin) Brown. He was raised in New York. He served in the United States Army from March 29, 1977 to December 27, 1978. Paul resided in Gurley, Nebraska before moving to Ogallala in 1996. Paul was employed by Sidney Roofing Co. at the time of his death. His hobbies included fishing, shooting pool, and riding motorcycles. Preceding him in death were his parents, sister Barbara Brennenstuhl, and brother Mark. Survivors include his children: Paul F. Brown, II of Bridgeport, Nebr.; Ronnie W. Brown of Brule, Nebr.; Jessika Brown and her children Trinity, Nevaeh, and Dean, all of Argyle, New York; and Autumn Brown and her daughter Jasmine of Tampa, Florida; special friend Jeanette Berks of Ogallala; three brothers Fred of Florida, Billy of Hoosick, New York, and Mathew of North Carolina; and one sister Alice and her husband Harvey Hahn of Hoosick Falls, New York. The family chose cremation. The graveside memorial service will be Monday, May 2, 2016, at 1 p.m. Central Time in Fort McPherson National Cemetery, Maxwell. Rev. Chuck Rager of the First United Methodist Church will officiate. Military Honors will be rendered by the Keith County Veterans Organization. A memorial has been established in his memory.
