Nicholas Allen Lapp

Nicholas Allen Lapp, 31, born January 26, 1995, passed away at his home on Friday, August 21, 2026, leaving behind cherished memories and a love that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Nick was born in Ogallala, NE to Shane Lapp and Traci Nelson. He was a loving father, brother, grandson and friend. Above all, Nick will be remembered for his funny personality and his huge, infectious smile that could light up a room. He was stubborn in the way that made him unique himself, but beneath that stubbornness was a deeply loving heart and a person who cared greatly for the people he called family.

Nick is survived by his son, Asher Lapp; his father Shane Lapp; his mother Traci Nelson; his brother, Dillon Lapp; his sisters, Chelsea (Bobby) Wickam and Skylar (Kaleb) Vak; his grandparents, Roger and Lynn Nelson, Max Lapp, and Patt Price; and several nieces and nephews.

Nick will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation will be on Friday, August 28, 2026, at the Draucker Funeral Home Chapel from 1p.m. to 6 p.m.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Ogallala with Rev Kim Andrews officiating.
