Marva Elaine Smith

Marva Smith Obituary Marva Elaine (Beal) Smith passed away on June 6, 2023, at the age of 93 in Payson, Arizona. Marva was born on May 19, 1930, in Julesburg, Colorado to Omer and Juanita Beal. She attended Brule, Big Springs and Ogallala High Schools in Nebraska. Marva married French Dwayne Smith and together they had five children. Sadly, French Dwayne, James, and Julia Ann preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Marva was a homemaker who dedicated her life to raising her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed. Marva is survived by her sons, John and Michael Smith, her daughter, Betha Rozanne, her sister, Mary Helen Palser her brother, Ivan (Barb) Beal and many grand children and great grandchildren. In her free time, Marva enjoyed volunteering as a seamstress at the Payson, AZ Humane Society and Payson, AZ Senior Center. She had a passion for sewing and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. A graveside service will be help on Wednesday, June 21, at 2:00 pm in the Ogallala Cemetery, with the Rev. Blake Wilkes of Arthur Baptist Church officiating. Marva will be laid to rest next to her husband French Dwayne. Rest in peace, Marva. You will be forever missed and always remembered.
