Marilyn Holdorf Obituary Marilyn A. Holdorf, age 80, of Big Springs, NE, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at the Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, CO. Marilyn was born in Creighton, NE, on June 9, 1940, the only child of Vernon and Bertha (Thompson) Nelson. Marilyn attended school in Big Springs, NE and graduated from Big Springs High School in 1957. She moved to various places through her life before settling in Big Springs in 2002 when she retired from the Federal Service. Marilyn is survived by her husband of 28 years, Richard 'Dick' Holdorf, of Big Springs; her children; April (Eddie) Bruegenhempke, of Hurdland, MO; Gerald 'Buddy' (Kelly), of Peoria, AZ; Kreig Kenfield; Todd (Tammy) Leckenby, all of Cantonment, FL; Danielle (Rodney) Cornett, of St. Charles, MO; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, other family and many, many more that called her mom, grandma and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents. A register book signing will be held, Friday, April 23, 2021 from 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. at the Draucker Funeral Home Chapel in Ogallala. A Private Interment of the cremains will be held at Fort McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell, NE at a later date. A memorial has been established in her name to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Draucker Funeral Home of Ogallala has been entrusted with arrangements.
