Lennie Collins Obituary Lennie J Collins, age 60, longtime resident of Ogallala, NE, joined Our Heavenly Father, with his wife and two girls by his side on March 20, 2021. He was born August 20, 1960 in Mason City, IA, the son of Ken Collins and Deanna Wolford. He grew up in Grafton, IA. Along with his mother and siblings, he later moved to Lewellen, NE, where he attended and graduated from High School in 1979. Lennie moved to Ogallala, NE after he met his wife, Michelle, in 1979. They have been married for 37 years. The two enjoyed entertaining in their Party-Room, traveling together, and recently discovered their love for cruise ships. He worked for Arnold Engineering (OEMI) for 33 years. He was a fun-loving, hardworking, Fireball drinking, Husker fan who was an avid fisherman and hunter, and enjoyed visiting his kids and grandkids. There was nothing he loved more than fishing with his family and friends. He is survived and lovingly remembered by his Father, Ken Collins (Michele) of Iowa; Wife, Michelle Collins of Ogallala; Children: Jennifer (Jesus) and grandsons, Anthony and Andrew Casillas, of Texas; Kylee (Josh), granddaughter Kinlee and unborn grandson Baby Jack Mehdinia, of Beatrice; siblings; and many nieces and nephews. Lennie was preceded in death by his mother; stepfather, Jerry Wolford; infant sister; parents-in-law, Jack & Marlene Ringer; and many other loved ones. A Memorial Service will be held, at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the Church of Christ in Ogallala with Pastor Bobby Brueggeman officiating. Memorials are suggested to the Youth Outdoors Nebraska Inc. for the Youth Fishing Tournament and the Church of Christ of Ogallala.
