Larry Beisner Obituary Larry A. Beisner, 70, of Ogallala passed away on February 18, 2018 in his home. Larry was born on February 2, 1948 in Ogallala, to Clarence and Lillian (Schoff) Beisner. Larry graduated from St. Paul's Lutheran School of Ogallala. Larry worked as a mechanic in the U.S. Army and was stationed at Fort Hood in Killeen, TX. Larry returned to Ogallala in 1970 and worked for MCM, Big Mac Diesel, Ogallala Ready Mix and Packard Power & Supply. Larry enjoyed working on cars and trucks for people. Larry enjoyed gardening, especially growing tomatoes, hunting, fishing and drag racing. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers Merlin, Dwain, Gerald, Kenneth and Berdette Beisner. Surviviors include two sons James Beisner of Smithfield, and Jake (Sarah) Beisner of Pueblo, CO; two brothers Berdell (Mary Lou) Beisner of Paxton, and Glen Beisner and sister Verdean VanAsch both of the Los Angeles CA area; and six grandchildren. Cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be on Wednesday February 28, 2018 at 10:00am in the Draucker Funeral Home. Rev. Mark Baldwin of Paxton United Methodist Church will officiate. Online condolences may be sent by signing the Guest Book. The service will be live streamed for those unable to attend. A memorial has been established to Ogallala St. Paul's Lutheran School. Inurnment will be in the Ogallala Cemetery. Draucker Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
