Kathleen 'Kathy' Saunders Obituary Kathleen 'Kathy' E. Saunders, age 80, of Grant, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019 at the Golden Ours Convalescent in Grant. Kathy was born to Earl Beknight Saunders and Mary Helen Nystrom on July 25, 1938 in Fort Morgan, CO. She is preceded in death by her parents; 1 daughter, Theresa Parson; 1 son, Jacob Stone; 1 sister, Irma Guthrie; and 1 brother, Eugene Saunders. Kathy is survived by 1 daughter, Lisa (Brian) Pankonin, of Grant, NE; 1 son, Dale (Victoria) Cooke, of Oklahoma; 1 sister, Mary McWilliams, of Lakewood, CO; 8 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The family chose cremation. A Private Family Memorial Service will be held at a later date in the mountains of Colorado above Golden.
