Jean Koppold

Roberta "Jean" Koppold, age 68 of Ogallala She passed away on Sunday September 21, 2025 at the Ogallala Community Hospital.

Roberta "Jean" Koppold (Burtis) was born on November 2, 1957 to Robert Ross Burtis and Roberta Mary Phillips in Imperial, NE. She graduated Ogallala High School. She held various jobs in Ogallala, and also road construction for 4 years. She married Wendall (Cooter) Koppold on February 19. 1999 in Omaha, NE.

She enjoyed reading, puzzles, gardening, spending time with the grandkids, she loved her birds and had fountains and feeders in the back yard. She looked forward to them returning every year.

Surviving family members include her husband Wendall, 2 sons Billy Dickinson of North Platte, Bradley Dickinson (Racheal) of Ogallala. 1 daughter Brenda Wright (Joey) Ogallala. 12 grandkids, 11 great grandkids and many nieces and nephews. Brothers Rex Burtis (Lori) South Dakota, Randy Hartman (Amy) Colorado, Sister Tammy Hartman Brockman Washington. She was preceded in death by parents Ed & Roberta Hartman, Brother Ricky Hartman, Kim Burtis. Private family services will be held at a later date.
