Jacob Byrd Obituary Jacob D Byrd, age 36 of Lemoyne, Nebraska, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024, in a motorcycle accident in Arthur County. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jacob Byrd, a dedicated father, loving son, cherished brother, and loyal friend. Jacob left us far too soon, leaving behind his two beloved sons, Andrew (15) and David (9), who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. Jacob was a man of many talents and a true craftsman. Whatever he put his hand to, he could accomplish. He had a big heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His skills ranged from remodeling homes to working as a diesel mechanic, auto and small engine mechanic, carpenter, welder, wood cutter, and equipment operator. He took pride in his work and approached every project with dedication and passion. Jacob was not only a remarkable professional but also a devoted father. He cherished every moment spent with Andrew and David, filling their lives with love, laughter, and guidance. He was their role model and their biggest supporter, always encouraging them to pursue their dreams. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Jacobs legacy of kindness and hard work will live on through Andrew and David, who will carry forward the values he instilled in them. In this time of sorrow, we ask for your support as we honor Jacobs memory and ensure that his sons are cared for during this difficult transition. Thank you for your love and kindness. (CT) at the Thedford High School Gym in Thedford, Nebraska.
