Diana Gwen Goodspeed, 67, of Ogallala, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at the Ogallala Community Hospital.

Gwen was born in Kansas City, Kansas to Manley Judson Goodspeed Jr. and Jeanne Jewell Goodspeed (Davis). She had two older siblings’ sister Lynne Robin Goodspeed and brother Mark Judson Goodspeed.

Gwen lived in Kansas City with her family who helped her with serious medical issues and development challenges. The family then moved to Omaha, Nebraska for Gwen to prepare to work in the service industry. After 10 years Gwen and her mother moved to Ogallala to become involved in the PAKS program to further help and support Gwen. Gwen and her mother attended several Christian churches in Ogallala. Gwen was very involved in the PAKS activities including bowling, horseback riding and vacation trips. Gwen loved people, music, cooking, her favorite TV shows and movies. She was also a devoted fan of the Colorado Buffalos and Ralphie the buffalo mascot and the Denver Broncos.

Due to a fall and a broken leg, Gwen moved into Indian Hills Manor in 2020, and because of COVID, had been living there since.

She is survived by her only sister Lynne Robin Goodspeed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Mark.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 22, 2026, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Draucker Funeral Home Chapel. 

Graveside service will be at the Ogallala Cemetery on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Matt Waitley officiating.
