Gordon Organ Obituary Gordon R. Organ, age 77, of Keystone, Nebraska, passed away, Sunday, January 12, 2020 at his home in Keystone. Gordon was born at Denver, Colorado, August 24, 1942 to Francis and Cleo (Jeremiasen) Organ. Gordon went to school and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Denver, Colorado in 1960. After graduating, he worked on various ranches in the Kremmling, Colorado area. He worked on the Green Mountain Dam, and Lockheed Martin for over 30 years as a Computer Programmer Analyst. He also worked for Dravo as a Computer Programmer Analyst for 5 years. In 1968 he was united in marriage to Tana Palmer, in Breckenridge, Colorado. Gordon retired in 1992 and moved to Keystone, Nebraska, where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating. In April of 1997 he joined the Keystone-Lemoyne Fire Department, and in 2003 he was elected Vice President, in 2004 he was elected president. He was a member of the Executive Board from 2004-2007. Gordon retired from the Fire Department in April of 2007 and made 85% of all calls each year during his 10 year membership. Gordon was considered the Honorary Mayor of Keystone. He was preceded in death by his parents. Gordon is survived by his wife, Tana Organ; 1 son; Todd Organ; and 1 daughter; Trina Organ, all of Aurora, CO. A gathering of friends will be at the Keystone-Lemoyne Fire Department in Keystone from 1:30 p.m.-4:00 p.m., Saturday, January 25, 2020. The family chose cremation. A Private Family Committal Service will be held at a later date. A memorial has been established for the Keystone-Lemoyne Fire Department. 1860 Northeast-Hwy 61, Keystone, NE 69144.
