Gerald Allen Lintner

Gerald (Jerry) Lintner Obituary Gerald (Jerry) Allen Lintner, age 87, of Ogallala, NE died Saturday, October 1st, 2022 in his home. Jerry was born October 16th, 1934 to Harry and Claudia (Heisley) Lintner in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Jerry attended school in Lancaster, later receiving his GED. He joined the Navy on November 19th, 1953, where he served on various aircraft carriers. He was discharged on November 1st, 1957 and returned to Lancaster. He later met Joan Eshleman and they married July 12th, 1966 in Elkton, Maryland. To this union three children were born; Jeffrey, Jennifer, and Jill. Jerry worked for an engineering service for awhile, then he worked for a knitting mill where he made cloth for clothing. He went to work for Blue Ball Bowling Alley as a mechanic. The couple moved to Ogallala, Nebraska in 1994. Gerry worked for Hokes Cafe, the Moose Lodge, and Wendy's until his retirement in 2017. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by: his wife Joan Lintner, children Jeffrey (Kae) Lintner of Central City, CO, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Buck of Cave Creek, AZ, and Jill (Ricky) Bohler of Ogallala, NE, grandchildren Michael Bohler and Matthew Bohlar of Ogallala, NE, Joseph Lintner and Lilly Lintner of Central City, CO.
