Evelyn Fleming

Evelyn Fleming, 74, of Ogallala, died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017, in her home. Evelyn was born September 8, 1943 in Denver, Colo., to Travis and Lois (Young) Fleming. She spent her life in Nebraska, Wyoming and Colorado. In Nebraska and Colorado some years were spent in the ministry, caring for souls and sharing God's Word. In Wyoming, she spent time working in a chiropractic clinic and caring for her parents until her mother died, and enjoyed a few years of operating an assisted living facility in Pine Bluffs. More recently, Evelyn was in Fort Collins, Colo. for approximately ten years where, as health permitted, she cared for dear ones including her father, finishing their journey on earth. Her last four years she lived in Ogallala. The weakness of Evelyn's body was limiting in many ways and a struggle every day, yet her love for Spiritual things offered strength to her friends and family. Survivors include her sister Jeanie (Don) Printz of Ogallala and two nieces: Deb (Larry)Wilkerson and Kerri (Brian) Flory and their families. They would like to thank all who brought help and comfort to her in various ways as her health failed. Cremation was chosen. The memorial service will be Saturday, Dec. 9, at 11 a.m. in the Draucker Funeral Home. A memorial has been established in her memory. Online Condolences may be sent by signing the Guest Book. Her family has requested no live-stream of the service. Draucker Funeral Home of Ogallala is entrusted with the arrangements.
