Eric Sauer Obituary Eric John Sauer, 50, of North Platte, Nebraska passed away Wednesday, January 4th, 2023 at his home. Eric was born December 11th, 1972 in San Francisco, California. Eric graduated from Ogallala High School in 1991. Eric's favorite time of the year was Christmas. He loved to cook and spend time with his family. When he was younger, he loved camping, the mountains, and vacationing. Eric is survived by his siblings; Julie (Bill) Christensen of Ogallala, NE, Rob (Judy) Sauer of Ogallala, Cheryl Carter of Ogallala, and Susan (Karl) Lake of Grant, NE. Preceding him in death were his parents William and Rosemary (Maefski) Sauer, nieces Angie Christensen and Amber Brown. The family chose cremation and burial will be at the Ogallala Cemetery, with his parents, at a later date. Draucker Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
