Diane Barnhill Obituary Diane K. Barnhill, age 72, of Ogallala, passed away, Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at her home. Diane was born on September 20, 1946 at Scottsbluff, NE to Harold and Juanita (Cook) Hergenrader. Diane grew up and received her education in Scottsbluff. She married LeRoy Conrad in Scottsbluff. In 1981, Diane married Gary Barnhill. They made their home in Ogallala. She was employed by the Ogallala Holiday Inn and later by the hospital in Grant. She also worked for the Greyhound bus depot in Ogallala. Diane worked for over 25 years at the ALCO store until they closed. Diane was a member of the St. Luke's Catholic Church. She loved her dogs and Nebraska football. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gary; and an infant sister, Linda. Diane is survived by 2 daughters; Julie Conrad of Butte, MT; Lisa (Conrad) Dierks of Leoti, KS; a brother, Stan Hergenrader of Lincoln, NE; and a grandson, Cole Dierks. The family chose cremation. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Ogallala Cemetery, with Rev. Chuck Rager officiating.
