Deborah Diane Redden

Deborah Diane Redden, 56, of Ogallala, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016, in the Lancaster Manor in Lincoln, NE, after a long battle with cancer. Deb was born February 26, 1959 in Ogallala, the daughter of Robert and Nellie (Kaiser) Ogg. She graduated from Chappell High School in 1977. On March 15, 1981 Deb was united in marriage to Fred Redden. They had two children Matthew and Rebecca. Through her life Deb worked many jobs with the public where she made a lot of friends and was loved by many in the community. Deb's greatest pastime was spending time with her grandchildren. They brought great joy and lots of love into her life. Preceding her in death was her father Robert Ogg. Deb leaves behind her son Matthew (Kimberly) Redden of Gering, her daughter Rebecca Nelms of Lincoln, and five grandchildren Lillian, Elizabeth, Andrew, Michael, and Charles; her sister Cheryl (Bill) Statler of Lemoyne, and her niece Mariah; her mother Nellie Ogg of Ogallala; and many more family and friends that she loved. The family chose cremation. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Febr. 17, at 11 a.m. at Roper & Sons Funeral Home in Lincoln. Services are also to be held Friday, Febr. 19, at 11 a.m., in the Ogallala Church of Christ with Bobby Brueggeman officiating.
