Connie Leanne Lamm

Connie Leanne Lamm age 69 of Ogallala passed away Wednesday, April 29th, 2026 at her home in Ogallala surrounded by her family. 

Connie was born on July 1, 1956, in Holdrege, Nebraska, to Lee and Donna Singleterry. After completing her schooling, she made her home in Kearney, where she spent many meaningful years and welcomed the births of her two sons.

Known for her love of cooking and her generous heart, Connie devoted much of her career to food service, including her time at the Peterson Senior Center in Kearney. There, she found great fulfillment and genuinely cherished the friendships and connections she formed within the community.

Above all else, Connie’s greatest passion was her family. In later years, she moved west to Ogallala, embracing a new chapter of life while helping care for her grandchildren. Time spent with her children and grandchildren brought her the deepest joy, and she treasured every moment shared with them. She spent her life fighting for her family, and when the time came, we fought just as fiercely for her. The light in her heart shone most brightly when she was surrounded by those she loved.

Connie will be remembered as someone who burned brightly turning ordinary moments into unforgettable adventures and never misses a chance to create her own fireworks along the way. Though the final sparkle fades from view, the awe she left behind will forever remain.

Connie is survived by her sons, Jason (Kristi) Singleterry and Lee Anderson, both of Ogallala; her sister, Chris (Ron) Johns of Ocala, Florida; and her brother, Mike Meyers of Kearney. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Samuel and Daisie Rathe of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Devin Singleterry, Colton King, and Breanna Singleterry, all of Ogallala, as well as two great-grandchildren. Connie was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Candy.

Memorial Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 9th, 2026 at the Church of Christ in Ogallala with Brian Brassfield officiating.
