Caswell Austin Obituary Caswell Everett Austin, age 47, of Hyannis, Nebraska, passed away on November 24, 2021 at Great Plains Health in North Platte, NE. Caswell Everett Austin was born in Grand Junction, CO on August 31, 1974 to William and Verna (Shaff) Austin. After graduating from high school, Cas started fulfilling his dreams of becoming a Cowboy. He worked on several ranches in the Colorado towns of Fruita, Burns, Toponas, and Yuma. He then moved to Nebraska where he took a ranch job with the Minors. Cas became family to Joe, Kris, Talon, Hannah, Tyler and McKenzie Minor quite quickly. Cas worked for the Minors to the end of his life. Cas loved ranching and all of those that he met or shared time with. Cas is survived by his mom Verna Austin and her friend Joseph (Jody) Kessler of Riverton Wy.,, his father William (Beth) Austin, Sister Jennifer (Mark) Lashare of Miton FL., and a sister Megan Austin of Hendersonville TN., as well as many extended friends.
