Betsy Hasty Obituary Betsy R. Hasty, age 92, of Ogallala, Nebraska, passed away, Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at her home in Ogallala. She was born July 14, 1928 in Omaha, NE to Herbert Davis. Her mother died when she was an infant. The family made their home in Carter Lake, IA where her early schooling was. They moved to Beatrice where she graduated from High School Betsy met Lloyd Hasty in Beatrice where they were married. The two of them moved to Kearney to make their home. In 1958 they moved to Ogallala. We will miss you, Bets. Betsy is survived by her niece, Anna Edwards, of Omaha; great-nephews, Isaac, Bradley and great-niece, Meriah Edwards; nephews, Michael and James Corbet, of Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. The family chose cremation. No services are scheduled at this time. Interment will be in the Filey Cemetery in Filey, Nebraska.
