Barbara Lust Obituary Barbara Louise Lust, age 86, of Ogallala, NE, passed away, Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at the Indian Hills Manor in Ogallala. Barbara was born October 24, 1932 in Aurora, Missouri to David M. Harding and Ruth H. (Lowery) Harding. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1950. Barbara married Lloyd Elmer Lust on June 17, 1950, and they started their lived in Cedar Rapids. Barbara worked as a child care provider for many years. She was into all kinds of crafts; knitting, crocheting, and sewing. She at one time made a suit for Lloyd. Barbara lived many places during her life and was always an active church member where ever she was. Of the many great things Barbara was in life, above all she will be remembered for her kind hearted, gentle, and compassionate soul. Her love filled a room, creating a place where family and friends were always welcome. Bobbie as she was known to many did not ask for much. Her greatest joy was the family she loved so dearly, creating traditions and a much loved wassail recipe. She will be always and forever in our hearts. Love you mama! She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years. Barbara is survived by 3 daughters; Vicki (Marty) Weidenbacher, of Ogallala; Karen (Michael), of Denver, CO; Julie (Michael) Bailey, of Niwot, CO; 2 sisters; Lynda (Joe) Perring, of Newport Beach, CA; Cheryl (Chuck) McDowell, of Ogallala; 6 grandchildren, Janna, Jasynda, William, Joshua, Shanea, and Cody; 11 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren. As well as many nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the First Congregational Church in Ogallala with Pastor Lisa Hadler and Pastor Linda Martin officiating.
