Barbara Covel Obituary Barbara K. Covel, age 50, of Ogallala, passed away on January 6, 2019 at the Perkins County Health Services in Grant. Barbara was born on September 12, 1968 to David and Carol (Jones) Morgan, in Scottsbluff, NE. Barbara attended school in Scottsbluff and New Mexico. After graduating, she went to work at the Job Core in the computer lab in Tulsa, OK. Barbara and her family moved to Colorado, and worked various jobs in the Greeley area, where she met her husband, Phillip Covel. The two of them were married in Indian Meadows, CO, on June 20, 1998. They later made their home in Greeley. She worked for Bob Ring Law Office in Fort Collins, CO, and in 2009 they moved to Ogallala. Barbara worked at the Pierce Law Office until she retired for health reasons. She was preceded in death by her parents; and 1 brother, Shane Morgan. Barbara is survived by her husband; 1 son, Josh Covel of Kersey, CO; 2 daughters, Kortnie (Alexander) Kirkpatrick-Landen, of Grant, NE, Mariah Covel, of Ogallala; and a niece, Caty Morgan of North Platte, NE. The Memorial Service will be held, Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the New Hope Church in Ogallala, at 10:00 a.m., with Pastor Eric Wait officiating.
