Alice May Studdard, 83, of Ogallala, died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015, in Indian Hills Healthcare Community. Alice May Greenemeier was born December 28, 1931,in Denver, Colo., the daughter of John and Agnes (Dawson) Greenemeier. She received her early education in Denver, graduating from high school in 1950. On January 6, 1951, Alice was united in marriage to Harold T. Studdard. The couple resided in Denver where Alice was employed at the W.T. Grants Dime Store. Other places of employment include Continental Can Co., the Book Bindry, and a clothing manufacturer. Later Alice worked for the Beech Aircraft Company in Boulder, Colo., assembling parts for airplanes and also was employed with Hewlett-Packard Co. in Loveland, Colo. She also worked for a company that made pocket knives and hunting knives. Alice and Harold resided in several other locations including California, Arizona, Oklahoma, W.Virginia, Texas, and New Mexico. Harold passed away in 1968. Alice relocated to Ogallala in 2003 moving to Indian Hills Manor in May 2015. Alice was a member of the Jehovah Witnesses fellowship. Her hobbies included quilting, crocheting, needle point, cross-stitching, sewing, and making jewelry with seed beads. Preceding her in death was her husband Harold 'Tom', her brother Donald Greenemeier, and her sister Virginia Hedberg. Survivors include her son Harold 'Von' Studdard and his wife Lynn of Ogallala, her grandson Jace L. (Tish) Studdard of Fountain, Colo. and her granddaughter Julie M. Studdard of Ogallala. Two sisters: Betty Rietz and Joyce Smith; and sister-in-law Georgia Greenemeier, all of Denver, Colo. Also five great-grandchildren. Alice chose cremation. The memorial service will be on Monday, Sept. 14, at 10:30 a.m. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 8740 W. Chatfield Ave in Littleton, Colo. Inurnment is at 2 p.m. in Fort Logan National Cemetery in Colorado. A memorial has been established to the American Heart Association. Online Condolences may by clicking on the Guest Book.
