Alan Ray Hazen

Alan Ray Hazen, born November 23, 1983, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, December 16, 2024, in Ogallala, Nebraska. He shared several years with the love of his life, April Hood.

Alan is survived by his daughter, Gabbrella Hawk; his father, Lynn Hazen; his brother, Matt (Sara) Hazen; his sister, Nicole (Justin) McCallum; and several cherished nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kandace Hazen, as well as his grandparents.

Alan enjoyed the outdoors, spending much of his free time fishing and hunting—passions that brought him peace and joy. He worked for Armstrong for several years as a dedicated truck driver. Known for his goofy and positive personality, Alan had a gift for making people laugh and lifting spirits with his upbeat attitude.

His sudden and untimely passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

No services are planned at this time, but a gathering to honor Alan’s life will be held for family and friends at a later date.

Alan’s lighthearted humor, kind heart, and love for his family will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
