Alan E. Lewis, 51, of Keystone, died Monday, July 7, 2014, at his home. Alan was born September 10, 1962, in Ogallala, the son of Larry and Estalene (Johnson) Lewis. Alan's family moved several times since Larry was a school teacher. Alan attended schools in Brewster, Scotia, Arnold and Plattsmouth. After graduating from high school Alan moved to Axtell and was employed with a glass company in Kearney. Later on, he relocated to Keystone to be close to his parents. Alan worked various construction and ranch jobs. Preceding him in death was his mother in 2009 and two cousins Steve Terry and Monte Chandler. Survivors include his father Larry Lewis and wife Shirley of Keystone; one son Josh Lewis of Omaha; one daughter Stephanie Fahrenbruch of Amarillo, TX, three brothers: Ron (Kathy) Lewis of Hastings, Ted (Mary) Lewis of Richardson, TX, and Jim (Lisa) Lewis of Jacksonville, FL; and two aunts Aneita Chandler of Keystone and Sharen (Ron) Terry of Ogallala. The family chose cremation and there will be no services.
