Leo Moses Obituary


Leo Clark Moses of Brule, Formerly of Hot Springs, South Dakota, residing his last three years with Dennis and Cheryl Thompson, died Monday July 16, 2018.


Leo was a veteran of WW II, serving from May 1945 to October 1946.  After an honorable discharge, he returned home and married Margaret Thompson on July 1, 1950 in Gordon.


He farmed and did dairy farming.  Later they moved to Hot Springs and he went into heating, air conditioning and propane with Standard Oil.


In later years, Leo opened  Leo's LP Service.  At the age of 90 he filled his last 20 pound propane tank.


Leo was loved and respected by relatives and friends alike.


He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 61 years Evelyn (Thompson) Moses, his sister Eileen Weisenberger and his two brothers Howard and Gay Moses.


Leo is survived by his two sisters, Ava Aeschbacher of Garland Tx, and Carol McCroan of Allen Tx, numerous nieces and nephews and countless others.


Cremation was Chosen.  A memorial service will be at a later date, in Hot Springs, South Dakota.  Condolences may be sent by signing the guest book at drauckerfuneralhome.com.
