Kris A Christiansen 54 of Sarben, NE received his angel wings September 17, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at Great Plains Health in North Platte.

Kris was born June 28th,1964 in Salt Lake City, UT to Robert and Luana (Burrows) Christiansen as the youngest of four. He attended Brighton High School after which he began working as a Department Manager for Dan’s Foods.

Kris desired a better, more secure life for his family so in 1998 he moved them to Paxton, NE.  They eventually settled down in Sarben, NE and Kris worked as a Boilermaker for Union Pacific.

Kris was a man of many skills & talents, an expert craftsman and engineer as well as a teacher. He gave his kids the skills to thrive and start their own families and become wonderful parents just as he was. Kris also found great joy in his grandchildren as they loved being around their “PopPop". He loved making others laugh and gave the best surprises, hugs and nicknames. He loved his family deeply and was loved and respected by all those who knew him.  Kris's wishes were to be cremated with no services planned at this time.
