Barbara A. Richardson, 71, of Ogallala, died November 14, 2016, in Denver Hospice.
 
Barbara was born July 26, 1945, in Denver, Colo., the daughter of Harold and Helen (Martin) Reed. She received her early education at Grand Island High School in Grand Island, Nebraska. After graduating she attended Kearney State College.
 
On December 1, 1989, Barbara was united in marriage to Russell B. Richardson at Hastings, Nebraska. The couple resided in Ogallala, Nebraska.
Barbara was employed in the office for Nash Finch and Dana Corporation before resigning to attend truck driving school. In 1996 she joined Russell in the Richardson Trucking Co. and they became team drivers.
 
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Barbara enjoyed spending time doing crafts and being with her grandkids.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Russell B. Richardson, and sister Jane Rombach.
 
Survivors include two daughters: Kristin (Jeff) Brouk of Highlands Ranch, Colo. and Mandy (Dean) Dowson of Denver, Colo.; two sons: Robert (Katherine) Richardson of Midlothian, Vir., and Brett (Erin) Richardson of Scottsdale, Ariz.; one brother Glen (Gayle) Reed of Flagstaff, Ariz.; and eight grandchildren.
 
The family chose cremation. The memorial service will be Saturday, December 17, at 10:30 a.m. in the Ogallala First United Methodist Church with Rev. Chuck Rager officiating. The service will be live streamed from drauckerfuneralhome.com, as well as, unitedmethodistchurch.com., for those unable to attend.
 

The interment of the urn will be scheduled at a later date. A memorial has been established to the First United Methodist Church. Online condolences may be sent by signing the Guest Book.
