OBITUARY
Sheila Wiley, 68, of Ogallala and formerly of Manderson, WY, died February 10,
2008 in Ogallala Community Hospital.

Sheila was born in Worland, WY on March 24, 1939 to Robert and Hazel Huff Wiley. She grew up on their family farm near Manderson, WY with her three sisters and one brother.
Sheila attended Eastern Montana University in Billings where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and taught high school math and science in Montana, Wyoming, and Washington. She then attended Denver University where she earned a Master degree in Library Science and was a school librarian in Big Piney, WY.
In 1988 Sheila took early retirement and played her late mother's role as grandmother for over 30 of her nieces and nephews. Sheila was constantly traveling to be with her family. Family could always count on her being there for a birthday party, sports game, dance recital, graduation or even to sew an extravagant Halloween costume. Sheila was always in the front of the pack running through Disneyland as she loved to go on vacations and travel. Sheila was known in several towns as "Aunt Sheila" by neighborhood children, as she treated them with the same love, enthusiasm, and friendship as she did her nieces and nephews. She hosted the best tea parties, played endless dress-up, told wonderful bedtime stories, and could often be seen wearing matching superhero capes while playing outside with the boys.
Sheila was a very talented seamstress and woodworker. She could cook, build, sew, and fix anything that was needed. No request made to Sheila went unanswered; she always came through and was willing to help with any project.
Sheila was a lifelong member of the United Methodist church.
Survivors include three sisters:
Bobbie and her husband George Cloudy of Denver; Diane and her husband Bill Scalzo of Gillette, WY; and Lynn and her husband Rich Paumer of Ogallala. A brother Jack Wiley and his wife Jodi of Gillette, WY. And many loving nieces and nephews.
Cremation was chosen and there will be no visitation. Memorial Service will be Saturday, Feb. 16 at 10:30 a.m. in the Ogallala First United Methodist Church with Rev. James Miller officiating. A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society.
Draucker Funeral Home of Ogallala is in charge of arrangements.
