Kathleen was born June 16, 1962 in Yorba Linda, CA., to Fred and Mary Holzworth. The family moved to the Los Angeles area.

Kathleen graduated from Sierra High in 1980. She then worked in the LA area until 1984 when she moved to Phoenix. On August 23, 1986 Kathleen married Larry Wood.

After graduating from Apollo Medical College Kathleen was employed as an receptionist in a medical clinic. In April 1993 the Woods moved to Ogallala where Kathleen worked various jobs.

Her hobbies include arts & crafts, Bible study, and enjoyed both indoor and outdoor activities. She especially liked animals, volunteering for the Food Pantry, and helping with activities at Indian Hills Manor.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her husband Larry Wood of Ogallala; her step-mother Mary Holzworth of Lancaster, CA. and her brother John Holzworth of Arizona.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 27, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Draucker Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, Feb. 28, at 2 p.m. in Draucker Funeral Chapel with Rev. Phil Ewert officiating.

A memorial has been established to the Breast Cancer Foundation.
