OBITUARY
Yvonne Chrisp, 82, lifetime resident of Paxton, died January 11, 2011 in
Tabitha Health Care in Lincoln.
Evlyn (correct spelling) Yvonne Chrisp was born February 5, 1928 in Sutherland,
Nebr., the daughter of George and Dorlis Osborn Hogg. Yvonne graduated from
Paxton High School in 1947.
On November 14, 1948 Yvonne married Mervin Chrisp in Paxton. The couple resided
in Paxton where they raised their three sons.
Yvonne was employed at Hehnke's Grocery Store in Paxton for several years. She
moved to Lincoln in 2007 to be closer to family.
Her hobbies included Brazilian embroidery, cross stitch embroidery,
scrapbooking, and making greeting cards. She especially enjoyed socializing with
friends. She was a member of the Paxton United Methodist Church and also served
on the Board.
Preceding her in death was her parents, husband Mervin, and sister Charlotte
Hogg.
Survivors include three sons: Ed Chrisp and his wife Dori of Columbus; Tom
Chrisp and his wife Kris of Orange Park, FL; and Dan Chrisp and his wife Jerri
of Lincoln. One brother Robert Hogg and his wife Carolyn of Lincoln. Three
grandchildren: Tim Chrisp (& Fiancee Melissa) of Jacksonville, FL. and LeAnn
Brown, of Middleburg, FL.; and Avery Chrisp of Lincoln. Two great-grandchildren:
Lyndsey and Nathan Brown of Middleburg, FL
Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 16, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Draucker Funeral Home.
The Funeral Service will be Monday, January 17, at 2 p.m. in the Paxton United
Methodist Church with Rev. Adam Davenport officiating.
