OBITUARY
Marvin 'Teeter' Alcorn Jr., 41, of Ogallala and formerly of Walden, CO., died
October 19, 2010 in Ogallala.
Teeter was born July 13, 1969 in Denver, Colo., the son of Marvin and Diana
Conway Alcorn. He attended school in North Park Schools in Walden, Colo. and
graduated from high school in 1988.
He entered the
Navy on January 9, 1990 and was stationed in San Diego, Cal. and
Jacksonville, FL. After discharge on April 30, 1991 Teeter returned to Walden
and was employed in several of the family businesses. He was currently employed
as a mechanic at Sapp Bros. Petroleum in Ogallala for several months.
Teeter enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bowling; but most of all spending time with
his children.
Preceding him in death by his sister Regina Sue Alcorn, and grandparents: Carl
and Goldie Alcorn and Roy and Ludella Conway.
Survivors include his children: Stephen Alcorn of Walden, CO; and Paulyna, Noah,
and Zachariah Alcorn, all of Wray, CO.; his mother Diana Alcorn of Ogallala and
his father Marvin Alcorn of Walden, CO. Also several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Cremation was chosen and there will be no viewing. A Memorial Service will be
Saturday, October 23, at 11 a.m. in Draucker Funeral Chapel.
Rev. Wayne Pick of Trinity Lutheran Church, of Ogallala, will officiate. The
flag presentation will be given by Gary Bush, Commander of VFW Post 3755.
A memorial has been established to his family.
