OBITUARY
Mary Ann Leetch, 70, of Ogallala, died September 15, 2009 at her home.
Mary Ann was born March 21, 1939 in Birtle, Manitoba, Canada, the daughter of Charles and Lillian Tomlinson Stewart. She attended school in Buella in Manitoba.
She worked on the family farm until she married Joseph DeCoste. The couple relocated to the United States to begin their lives together. They lived in various locations in California and later moved to Gordon, Nebraska and Mary Ann was employed as a food server.
Mary Ann moved to Ogallala to be closer to her children. She worked as a food server for many years. Her hobbies included fishing, bowling, and playing bingo and cards. Being with family and friends were especially important.
Preceding her in death were her parents, one son, and one brother.
Survivors include three daughters: Lillian (Daniel) Hernandez of Big Springs, Mary 'Theresa' (Mario) Martinez and Shannan (Shane) Donason, all of Ogallala.
Three sons: Charles (Cindy) DeCoste and Leslie (Debra) DeCoste, all of Ogallala; and Robert DeCoste of Hay Springs, NE.
Two sisters: Rose Martyszenko of Victorville, CA. and Winnie (Art) Lennox of San Diego, CA.
Also 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen and there will be no viewing. Memorial Service will be Monday, September 21, at 10 a.m. in Draucker Funeral Home. Pastor George Robison of the Church of Christ will officiate.
Inurnment in the Ogallala Cemetery. A memorial has been established in her memory.
