Marie A. Day age 82 of Ogallala died Saturday at Indian Hills Manor in Ogallala. 

Marie was born April 7, 1926 in Goodland, Kansas to Charles and Geneva Bachelor Hobbs.  Marie married Claude F. Day on November 16, 1945,  they made there home in Atwood, KS.  They were members of the Christian Church in Atwood.  In 1967 Marie and Claude moved to Holyoke, CO where Marie worked for the nursing home there. Claude preceded her in death in 1977.  In 1984 Marie moved to Ogallala where she worked for TRW and then Hill Top Inn.  Marie Retired in 1995. 

Survivors include:

Three daughters:     Claudette and husband Dale Hornkohl of Ogallala,
                            Constance and her husband Riky Rogers of Dodge City KS and
                            Pamela and her husband John Erickson of Holyoke, CO. 
One sister:             Theora and husband Bud Williams of Paso, WA.

Eight Grandchildren
Sixteen Great Grandchildren
Two Great Great Grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Son and Parents

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 12 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Draucker Funeral Home.  Cremation to be held with committal to be in the Goodland Cemetery.
