OBITUARY
Betty Chandler, age 72, longtime
Keystone resident, died Friday, August 1, 2008 in Great Plains Regional Medical
Center in North Platte.

Betty Evelyn Chandler was born April 2, 1936 in Ogallala, the daughter of Orville and Evelyn Williams Travis. She attended Ogallala schools and received her GED in 1951.
On December 18, 1952 Betty married Don Chandler in Torrington, WY. The couple always resided and ranched in the Keystone area.
Mrs. Chandler was a 4-H leader, a volunteer at the Keith County Senior Center and belonged to the Presbyterian Ladies Club. She enjoyed helping at the Keystone Library and at the Little Church in Keystone. Her hobbies included caring for her grandchildren and doing ceramics.
Preceding her in death were her parents, three infant children and three brothers.
Survivors include her husband Don Chandler, her son Steve Chandler and his wife Susan Heming Chandler, all of Keystone. A sister Sharon and her husband Gene Woznick of Scottsbluff. Also three grandchildren: Jessica Chandler of Omaha, Bill Chandler of Lincoln, and Becki Chandler of Keystone.
Visitation will be Monday, Aug. 4, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Draucker Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, Aug. 5, at 10 a.m. in the New Hope Worship Center, 319 East "O" Street, Ogallala. Rev. Mark Carlton will officiate.
Interment in the Ogallala Cemetery. A memorial has been established to the Kidney Foundation.
Draucker Funeral Home of Ogallala is in charge of arrangements.
