 OBITUARY

Kay Lehl, 72, of Grand Island and formerly of Ogallala, died March 21, 2008 at her residence.

Kay was born November 30, 1935 at Ansley, NE., the daughter of Ralph and Erva (May) Cannon.

Kay graduated from Ansley High School in 1953 after which she moved to Ogallala. In 1975 she moved to Flagstaff, AZ where she attended cosmetology school. After practicing cosmetology in Flagstaff and Tucson she returned to Ogallala in 1981.

Then for health reasons and to be closer to her grandchild she moved to Grand Island in 2001.

Kay was a member of the Ogallala Methodist Church and later belonged to the Grand Island Methodist church.

Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers Jack and Ed, and several half brothers and sisters.

Survivors include three sons: Rodger Lehl of Loma Linda, CA; Douglas Lehl of Monett, MO; and James Lehl of Grand Island; and four grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen and there will be no visitation. A Celebration of Friendship service was held March 24 at First United Methodist Church in Grand Island. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 29 at 1 p.m. in Draucker Funeral Home. Rev. Bev Lazendorf of Grand Island will officiate. It was Kay's wish that the cremains be scattered by the family in a special resting place.
