OBITUARY
Anna Thomas, 80, longtime Ogallala resident, died March 18, 2008 at Indian Hills
Manor.

Anna was born May 28, 1927 at Brule, NE., the daughter of Earl and Muriel McNeff Barnica. She received her education in Big Springs, NE.
On March 30, 1948 Anna married William J. Thomas in St. Lukes Catholic Church. The couple lived and farmed in the Keith County area.
Mrs. Thomas held the position of Office Clerk for the Keith County Judge for many years.
She was a member of St. Lukes Catholic Church and also served on the Altar Society. Anna was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Her hobbies included flower gardening, crocheting, and researching her family tree.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Bill in March 2007, her son Richard Thomas, and three brothers William, Robert, and James Barnica.
Survivors include:
Her son: Rocky Thomas and special friend Maddy Palmer,
both of Ogallala, NE
Her daughter: Rhonda and her husband Allen McMahon of Mesa, AZ
One brother: Lyle Barnica and his wife Shirley of Boulder, CO.
Two sisters: Marjory Moser of North Platte, NE. and Mildred and her
husband Alvin Griffin of Chappell, NE.
Eight Grandchildren: Jason Diamond of Omaha, NE; Shaun (Staci) McMahon of
Gretna, NE; Leon (Lori) Thomas of Omaha, NE; Emmy (Blake) Anderson of Austin,
TX; JoAnna Thomas of Lincoln, NE; Erin McMahon of Tucson, AZ; Caitlin McMahon of
Mesa, AZ; Russell Thomas of Ogallala, NE and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be: Sunday, March 23, from 3 p.m. until the time of Rosary Service at 5 p.m. at Draucker Funeral Home.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be Monday, March 24, at 10 a.m. in St. Lukes Catholic Church with Father Bryan Ernest the Celebrant.
