Ema Pauline Fricke, age 83, of Roscoe, NE, died Tuesday June 14, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Health System in Kearney.

Pauline was born January 26, 1928 to Emory and Violet (Bartholomew) Alexander in Arnold, NE and raised in Arnold, before moving to Seneca, NE with her family. Ema met Clarence in Seneca and they were married November 10, 1945 in North Platte. The couple lived in various places in Nebraska and Wyoming until finally settling in Roscoe, Nebraska, in 1952 to raise their family.

Pauline loved to sew, crochet, read and cook.

Pauline is survived by her husband: Clarence "Mert" Fricke of Roscoe, NE.
Their children,sons: Glen (Pam) of Ogallala; Charley (Deb) of Sarben, Douglas (Diana) of Lewellen;
Clifton (Dana) of Austin, TX; Michael (Elizabeth) of Chapel, Lyman (Angela) of Keystone, Lynn of Roscoe
and daughter: Janell (Todd) Michalski of Roscoe.

One brother, Elmer (Char) Alexander of North Platte and sister, Fern Fricke of Ogallala

21 Grandchildren, 39 Great-Grandchildren, and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Jennifer Fricke, 2009.

Funeral services for Ema Fricke will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday June 20, 2011, at the Draucker Funeral Home with Pastor Duane Dunwoody officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday June 19, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Draucker Funeral Home, Ogallala, NE.

A memorial has been established to the Good Samaritan Health Systems, Kearney NE.
Interment will be in the Paxton Cemetery, Paxton, NE.  Condolences may be sent by clicking here.
