 OBITUARY

 
Kylie Hicks, 18, senior at Ogallala High School, died April 14, 2010, after a heroic battle with cancer at the Childrens Hospital in Omaha.

Kylie was born Sept. 12, 1991 in Cambridge, NE., the daughter of Kent and Lisa Hofeldt Hicks. She attended elementary
schools in Ogallala and was preparing to graduate with the Class of 2010.

Kylie enjoyed going to Lake McConaughy and being with her friends.

Preceding her in death were her grandparents Gary and Marilyn Hofeldt and Alyce Hicks, and stepfather Sam May.

Survivors include her parents Kent Hicks of Ogallala and Lisa May of North Platte. One sister Kendra Schott of Cheyenne,
WY; and three brothers: Michael Hicks and Christopher Hicks, both of Lincoln; and Justin May of North Platte. Grandparents: Dale (Marjorie) Hicks of McCook.  And longtime special friend Keith Morris of Paxton and numerous cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 18, from Noon to 6 p.m. at Draucker Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service will be Monday, April 19, at 10 a.m. in the New Hope Worship Center on East "O" Street, with Rev. Phil Ewert officiating.
