Bernice was born September 26, 1920 at Giltner, NE., the daughter of Alvah and Minnie Mae Wright Bye. Bernice received her education in Lexington,Overton, and Ogallala.

Bernice married Alvie Wright in 1937 in Ogallala. They had three children: Carol, Howard, and Donna.

In 1945 Bernice married Vern Peters and they had a son Bernard Peters.

On July 1, 1951 Bernice married Morris Jack Ott at Grant, NE.
 

Mrs. Ott began employment at TRW in 1945 and worked there 41 years until her retirement in 1986.

Mrs. Ott was a member of the Methodist Church and the VFW. Her hobbies include crocheting, embroidery, and sewing but she most enjoyed being a homemaker.

Preceding her in death was her husband Morris J. Ott, her parents, two daughters Donna Witt and Carol Kastler; two brothers Cecil Bye and Shurban Bye. Three Sisters: Beulah Abbot, Georgia Santeria, and Rosetta McCoy. Grandson Larry Witt.

Survivors include her son Howard Wright and his wife Elsie of Pierce, CO. and her son Bernard Peters and his wife Jenifer of York, NE. Also nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 5, 1 to 5 p.m. at Draucker Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Monday, Oct. 6, at 10 a.m. in Ogallala First United Methodist Church with Rev. James B. Miller officiating.

Interment in the Fairview Cemetery in Grant, NE. A memorial has been established in her name.
