Margo Ann Hassen, 60, of Ogallala, died at her home December 26, 2009.

Margo was born January 8, 1949 in San Francisco, CA., the daughter of Harold and Gertrude Ferguson Keith. As a young child, Margo moved to Seattle with her family.

She graduated from Tyee High School in Seattle in 1967. Margo became a volunteer minister as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1971. She did mission work in Spain and later worked in the Spanish congregations in Seattle.

In 1986 Margo married Richard Hassen and the couple made its home in Seattle and both served as volunteer ministers in the Seattle area in the English congregations.

The couple moved to Ogallala in August of 2009.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother Alan Keith.

Survivors include her husband Richard Hassen of Ogallala and her sister Karen and her husband William Gunther of Yakima, WA.

There was cremation and there will be no viewing. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, January 9, 2010, at 1 p.m. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Ogallala, NE. There will also be a memorial service in Seattle at a time and place to be announced.
